Chris Higgins

Chris is Director of The MacKillop Institute and part of the Executive Leadership Team at MacKillop Family Services. He leads the design and delivery of professional learning for thousands of educators across Australia, focused on strengthening trauma-informed practice and staff and student wellbeing. Previously, as Director of the Asia Education Foundation at the University of Melbourne, he led educator and student programs across 23 countries to advance intercultural understanding. Chris is also currently finishing his PhD researching the use of online learning to connect students in Australia with international peers to develop global competencies.
