'Creating the community we want'
Our Youth Summits are a platform for students to voice their ideas around diversity, inclusion and community cohesion to peers, politicians, leaders and the broader community. Since 2016, our Youth Summits have supported student voice and leadership, hosting hundreds of students from diverse government and non-government schools.

The 2026 Youth Summit is a collaboration with our partner organisation in South Australia, The Abraham Institute.
Applications are now open for secondary school students in South Australia to attend our 2026 SA Youth Summit.
The theme of the Summit is “Creating the community we want”.

About Our Youth Summits
Our New South Wales Youth Summits began in 2016. In 2023, in addition to our NSW summit, we held our inaugural Victorian Youth Summit in partnership with the Asia Education Foundation.
In 2024, our first National Youth Summit was held at The Parliament of Australia in Canberra, with schools from around the country attending.
In 2025, our Youth Summit headed north with schools from Queensland and the Northern Territory converging on Queensland Parliament.
Local Youth Summits
In 2026 and beyond, we are collaborating with City and Shire Councils to facilitate local Youth Summits in various locations around the country.
