Workplace Giving is a collaborative effort, where the emphasis is on lots of people donating small amounts to make a big difference. You can make pre-tax donations through your pay.
Many employers match employee donations and employees can give in other ways too – fundraising appeals, volunteering time, sharing skills.
Workplace Giving donations come from your pre-tax salary, so more goes to helping children feel like they belong. A $5 donation only costs you about $3.25 but Together For Humanity gets the full $5. You also don’t need to keep tax receipts and it won’t affect your gross income or superannuation. Whether you are an employee or an employer all you have to do to donate to Together For Humanity through your organisation is to visit Workplace Giving Australia at workplacegiving.org.au to register. You’ll find Together for Humanity on the website and you can register for workplace giving there.
