Cultural Hearing Asking & Telling (CHAT) is an eight week small group program designed to enhance and deepen empathy, encourage listening and understanding, explore diversity, and develop students’ self-reflection and dialogue skills. 6–8 sessions (adaptable for Years 6 – 12)

Student leaders are supported to develop skills and capacity to engage with people from different religious and cultural backgrounds. Participants are guided to consider different ways to engage with people from other cultural and faith communities while honouring and representing their own religious and cultural identities and experiences. Through student-led discussion, issues of relevance to their lives, such as antisemitism, Islamophobia and prejudice against First Nations peoples can be addressed.
