Youth Summit
Our Youth Summits are a platform for students to voice their ideas around diversity, inclusion and community cohesion to politicians, leaders and the broader community. Since 2016, our Youth Summits have supported student voice and leadership, hosting hundreds of students from a diverse range of government and non-government schools.
In 2023, we held our inaugural Victorian Youth Summit in partnership with the Asia Education Foundation. We also held a NSW Youth Summit at NSW Parliament House later that year.
In 2024, our first National Youth Summit was held at Australian Parliament House, Canberra, with schools coming from across the country.
I learned that we all have the ability to make a change in our community and in our schools through our actions.
The summit helped students feel connected and confident to have complex conversations with others. They walked away more inspired and hopeful.
Queensland / Northern Territory Summit 2025
We are excited to announce we will be holding our next Youth Summit for Queensland and Northern Territory secondary schools in early August 2025.
Register your interest for this Summit, and we will keep you updated on exact date and location.
Local Youth Summits coming in 2025
In 2025, we will also be partnering with city and shire councils to facilitate local youth summits in various locations around the country. The first will be held in Wagga Wagga in April. Please get in touch if you are interested in a local youth summit in your area.
