Youth Summit
Our Youth Summits are a platform for students to voice their ideas around diversity, inclusion and community cohesion to politicians, leaders and the broader community. Since 2016, our Youth Summits have supported student voice and leadership, hosting hundreds of students from diverse government and non-government schools.
In 2023, we held our inaugural Victorian Youth Summit in partnership with the Asia Education Foundation. We also held a NSW Youth Summit at the Parliament of NSW later that year.
In 2024, our first National Youth Summit was held at The Parliament of Australia in Canberra, with schools from around the country attending.

We are excited to announce our next Youth Summit for Queensland and Northern Territory secondary schools.
The Summit will take place on Thursday 28 August 2025.
The theme is ‘Bridging to the future: Navigating identity and differences together’.

Youth Summit process
- Feb-May : Schools submit Expression of Interest forms for selection
- May : Together For Humanity staff assess applications and notify schools
- June-Aug : Selected schools choose student teams and design proposals based on this year’s theme
- Thurs 28 Aug : Youth Summit held at Queensland Parliament House

Local Youth Summits: Coming in 2025!
In 2025, we are partnering with City and Shire Councils to facilitate local Youth Summits in various locations around the country. The first will be held in Wagga Wagga, NSW in April.
